MPD: 1 person injured in overnight shooting

Milwaukee police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021.
It happened around 2:30 am near 38th and W. Sheridan Avenue.
The victim, a 20-year-old Milwaukee man, suffered a single gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital by Milwaukee Fire Department personnel.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation. Milwaukee police are looking for an unknown suspect in relation to the shooting.
