WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) – On Friday, 400 freshmen at Carroll University in Waukesha checked into the dorms.
We caught up with one freshman who is the first member of his family to go to college. HE says he wants to work with animals when he graduates and is excited to start school.
“Hoping to be a part of the community and make a lot of friends and connections. I want to work at the zoo in Milwaukee County, so I hope to be a part of Carroll after I graduate too,” says freshman Ethan Melzer.
More than 1,000 students will return to campus this weekend. Classes at Carroll start next Thursday, September 7.
