Mount Pleasant Police investigating suspicious death of a woman

Mount Pleasant Police are investigating a death they are calling suspicious after a body was found along the road in a forested area Monday afternoon.
Police say they were dispatched to the 11000 block of Louis Sorenson Rd. for a report of a body at 1:21 p.m.
At this time, the cause, manner, and circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation.
Police have confirmed that the body found is not that of Lynn Rickard, the Racine County woman who has now been missing a little over a month.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
According to police, residents in the 11000 block of Louis Sorenson Road are not in any danger.
