Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash in Town of Plymouth

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in the Town of Plymouth Friday afternoon, Sept. 17. 

Officials say it happened around 2:25 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 23 and County Road P.

According to a preliminary investigation, a motorcycle traveling eastbound on State Highway 23 turned northbound at County Road P and was struck by a truck traveling westbound on State Hwy 23.

The operator of the motorcycle, a 74-year-old Town of Plymouth man, was seriously injured and flown via LifeNet Air Ambulance to Theda Clark Medical Center.

The operator of the truck, a 62-year-old man from the Town of Lyndon, did not require immediate medical attention.
