Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened around 2:25 AM on September 4 in the 6000 block of West Capitol Drive. 

A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was driving his 1996 Suzuki motorcycle southbound on North 60 Street. 

The preliminary investigation indicates the motorcyclist disregarded a red traffic signal and struck a 2004 Cadillac Escalade as it traveled eastbound on W. Capitol Drive through the intersection. 

The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital where he later died.  The driver of the Escalade, a 46-year-old woman, was not injured.
