Storms ending into the overnight
A mom who was dropping her kids off at daycare became the unsuspecting victim of car theft.
The alleged car thief was waiting with an accomplice in a getaway car before stealing her van.
The incident happened Monday morning, around 7:30 a.m., near 90th and Concordia.
The daycare owner's husband says the theft happened in a matter of minutes.
According to police, the car was left running as the woman quickly went inside to drop her kids off. One of the suspects in a black sedan jumped into the van and took off. The black sedan also sped away.
The owners of the daycare were told that that the car theft suspects are two boys believed to be in their young teens.
No one was injured.
