Morning Storms Cause Damage, Power Outages

Storms rolled through southeast Wisconsin early Monday morning causing numerous severe thunderstorm warnings and even a tornado warning. We have received reports of numerous trees down throughout the area especially in southern Dodge County where the tornado warning was issued.

As of 5:45 AM, 18,384 We Energies customers were reported without power. 

Dodge County: 2,444 without power
Jefferson County: 1,257 without power
Kenosha County: 1,636 without power
Ozaukee County: 836 without power
Racine County: 356 without power
Sheboygan County: 1,732 without power
Walworth County: 15 without power
Waukesha County: 2,454 without power

In addition to wind damage, many locations have received heavy rain. A flash flood warning is in effect for Dodge County until 10 AM where over 5\" of rain has fallen in Beaver Dam.
