MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- More than 500 bikes will be given away for free this weekend in Milwaukee. It's happening at the Sixteenth Street Community Health Center's 13th annual Bike Day on Saturday, June 15.
The free event -- happening in Kosciuszko Park -- will also provide south side families with health education, music, dancing and healthy food.
Hundreds of bikes, helmets and bike locks will be given to children in Milwaukee that are under the age of 18, while supplies last. There is a limit of two bikes/helmets/locks per family.
Bike Day goes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
