MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Hundreds of Milwaukee-area children have brand new shoes Friday.
It's partly thanks to Bobs from Skechers. The collection was created to help children worldwide.
For every pair of Bobs shoes that are sold, a pair are donated.
"We've done this for about eight years, so it's just a great organization," said Tabatha Peterson of Skechers Footwear. "A one-for-one giveaway, for every pair we sold we donate. And Skechers has donated over 15 million pairs of shoes total in the U.S. and over 30 countries."
Over 1,500 pairs of new shoes were gifted at the Don and Sallie Boys and Girls Club.
