Monday Evening Road Issues

Scattered snow showers continue to fall across the viewing area tonight.  While the snow has decreased in intensity, additional light accumulation will continue to cause slick and hazardous travel across the area.

Here is a list of the main highways and interstates that are reporting issues.

Many secondary roads have become slick and hazardous across the area.  Those roads won't be treated as fast, so their condition will deteriorate as the night goes on.

The big problem tonight will be temperatures falling into the upper teens.  Even though just an additional inch of snow is forecast, the cold temperatures will cause the Tuesday morning commute to be slow with icy bridges and roads.  Please use caution!
