Mitchell Interchange ramp and southbound lanes closing this weekend for repaving

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Part of the Mitchell Interchange on Milwaukee's south side is closing the evening of Friday, April 24 through the morning of Sunday, April 26 for repaving.
The southbound I-43 to westbound I-894 ramp will be closed, along with two southbound lanes between Howard Avenue and the interchange.
The detour route uses the I-41/94 southbound exit to Layton Avenue, then west to 27th Street, then the 27th Street entrance ramp to rejoin the highway.
