Milwaukee Woman Caught in the Act of Burglary

Two suspects at a business that had just been broken into were caught in the act on Milwaukee's northwest side.

District Four officers responded to the 4200 block of W. Silver Spring Drive around 1:45 AM on September 18 after a security guard said two people broke into the business.

According to police, when the officers arrived, they saw that a window of the building had been smashed.

A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was found inside the building and an 18-year-old Milwaukee man was located just outside the building and they were both taken into custody.

The female suspect has an arrest record dating back to 2008.

MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
