A Milwaukee woman was allegedly the victim of fraud by a former friend that lied about being terminally ill.
According to Brown Deer Police, a 37-year-old Milwaukee woman reported a theft from a former friend.
The friend’s illness turned out to be a lie.
According to Brown Deer Police, it was determined there were purchases made in Brown Deer but the fraud occurred in Milwaukee.
The woman was told by Brown Deer Police to contact Milwaukee Police.
