Milwaukee Wakes Up to Aftermath of Disturbance

Residents in the Northwest side of Milwaukee woke up to the aftermath of Saturday's violent disturbance. 

Area residents and churches are working together to try to clean up the destruction. 
Nearly 300 Common Ground leaders will gather with elected officials to ask for commitment of $7 million for South Side Sports Complex for Youth Soccer, Center Street Investment on Sunday afternoon. 

Residents and the Coalition for Justice gathered at Sherman Park to begin the clean up work at 8:00 AM.

They gathered on the other side of the BP Gas Station that was destroyed in a fire. 

A supermarket on 21st and Burleigh destroyed during last night's violence. 

Also, MJM Liquor on Meinecke and Fond Du Lac was destroyed.
