Milwaukee VA hosting Nursing Career Fair with up to $10K hiring incentives for certain positions

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee VA is hosting a Nursing Career Fair Thursday, April 28 at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center.

The event is targeted to registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants. 

The VA says both experienced health care workers and those new to the field are encouraged to drop in and apply.

“We’re offering up to $10,000 in hiring incentives for certain RNs, LPNs, and CNAs,” said Matt Zirbes, human resources officer. 

Candidates are invited to stop in and meet with recruiters throughout the afternoon from 1-6 p.m. Thursday.
