Milwaukee to host tattoo festival at Baird Center 

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee will transform into a hub for tattoo fans as the Milwaukee Tattoo Festival is preparing to showcase the art of getting inked-up at the Baird Center during the weekend of April 26-28,

The event is scheduled to feature over 200 world-renowned tattoo artists, from local favorites to international stars, showcasing their skills and competing in contests that span 15 categories.

In addition to tattooing, the festival will house vendors selling items that range from unique oddities to clothing. While the event is open to the public and said to be family-friendly, anyone interested in receiving a tattoo must be 18 or older with a valid ID.

Artists have begun booking sessions in advance, though many will also welcome walk-up appointments throughout the weekend.
