Milwaukee teen granted wish through Make-A-Wish Wisconsin

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee teenager and her family had a day they'll never forget. 

Seventeen-year-old Adasia is living with a congenital heart condition. She was picked up by a limousine at her school and taken to Macy's at Mayfair Mall where Make-A-Wish Wisconsin granted her wish Friday. 

Adasia was welcomed by store associates and volunteers. She then got a makeover, manicure, and a shopping spree. 

"She's always had a good spirit. Today just upped it by a hundred. She's always in good spirits. She's a very thoughtful child, she's really blessed to have this because she now sees the more big-picture of who she is," said Adasia's mom, Kalisha Seamster. 

Adaisia was one of 25 wishes granted today around the country by the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Macy's.
