MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A former Milwaukee teacher accused of human trafficking pleads not guilty in court on Friday.
A cash bond for Christian Mothershead was set at $7,500. He is accused of bringing a woman and her child to the U.S. from the Philippines. Police say the woman thought they were going to get married. Instead, she and her son were forced to clean Mothershead's home.
The former Hamilton High School teacher is also charged with bail jumping, accused of talking to someone on the phone that he was ordered not to have any contact with.
Mothershead will be back in court in October.
