Milwaukee students with special gift for local veterans

A simple gesture from local students to veterans facing physical challenges.

You'd be surprised what a new set of hubcaps can do.

Special education students at Morse-Marshall School in Milwaukee tricked out hubcaps for veterans' wheelchairs.

The students handcrafted hand painted eagle decorations. Their way of showing appreciation and empathy.

You could see the thrill of the kids faces when the veterans showed their delight with the gifts.

\"It helps integrate the veteran community with the regular community and a lot of times things like this will make you really realize how much people care,\" Veteran Eric Fife told CBS 58 News. \"I think it's amazing!\"

Two companies donated supplies; Puhl's Hardware in Wauwatosa and Artist and Display.

A real community effort to connect with those who have served our country.
