MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In Plane View in Milwaukee is looking to raise money for the family of Gideon Simos, the 3-year-old boy who died from his injuries following a house fire last week.

The bar and grill, located on East Layton Avenue across from Mitchell International Airport, will be donating proceeds from its 'Shake of the Day' contest to the victim's family. The fundraiser will run the entire month of February.

"It took two seconds to decide," said Skylar Gibbs, the bar's general manager. "Every Shake of the Day game is now two dollars. A dollar will go toward the family and at the end of February, if nobody wins the pot, the entire pot will be going toward the family."

This isn't the first time the bar and grill has used the game, a favorite in Wisconsin bars, to help the community. According to Gibbs, they have donated to several community charities in the time that the restaurant has been open, which is nearing a year.

"Just anything that will help the community," Gibbs said. "They give back to us, so it's our way to give back to them."

Along with the contest proceeds, Gibbs says the bar will be accepting individual donations that will be given to the family.
