(GREENDALE) - "Show you're rare, show you care" is the slogan for the 12th annual Rare Disease Day observed throughout the world on Thursday. A local survivor of a rare disease is showing how much she cares by offering support at the same cancer center where she received treatment a decade ago.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Jacquelyn Abad shares the story of Maria Voermans whose life was turned upside down by an incredibly rare form of cancer.
