Milwaukee Public Transportation Review Board to discuss expanding train, bus routes to Racine County

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Expanding transportation lines to the new Foxconn facility will be up for discussion Wednesday in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee’s Public Transportation Review Board will talk about new transit lines connecting the city to Racine County.

Options include new Amtrak lines and MCTS bus routes. Officials say seating is an issue on some peak Amtrak trains from Chicago to Milwaukee, so the city may consider adding three more daily round trips.
