MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Earlier this afternoon, Nov. 1, the Milwaukee Public Museum hosted their first-ever Powwow, as Native American Heritage Month officially gets underway.
The Three Rives Powwow showcased the diverse dance styles and drumming routines of groups across our state.
Visitors also had the chance to try authentic indigenous food and shop for items crafted by Native Americans.
The museum is hosting a wide array of events throughout the rest of November in recognition of Native American Heritage Month.
