Chill on the Hill returns for 21st summer at Humboldt Park
GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- We had quite the cake competition in our own backyard!
"The Great Cake Challenge" happened Saturday, April 25, at the Metro Market in Greenfield.
Each competitor decorated four food items, including two different kinds of cakes and some cupcakes - all within a couple of hours.
The event's celebrity chefs, including NFL Hall of Famer and former Packer Leroy Butler, got to judge the cakes and announced a winner.
We spoke to that winner about how she was able to do so much decorating in so little time.
"I feel like the first hour went by really fast and I only had one cake done so I had to kind of scramble to get the rest done," said winner Elena Cieszki.
Those decorated cakes are being donated to Children's Wisconsin.
During the event, organizers announced a $3,000 grant for Children's "Nourishing Partners" program.
