Milwaukee Police use Find My iPhone to Arrest Suspects in Several Armed Robberies

After two men were robbed at gun point, Milwaukee Police were able to use “Find My iPhone” feature to locate and arrest several armed robbery suspects on the City’s North Side.

District Five officers responded to the 2300 block of W. Keefe Avenue around 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

Two adult male victims were approached by two male suspects who were armed with guns.

The suspects demanded property from the victims, including a cell phone, and fled from the scene in a vehicle.

Using “Find My iPhone”, officers were able to track the phone to the 100 block of W. Capitol Drive.

At that location, officers found the phone and two guns and arrested four suspects inside the getaway vehicle.

The suspects are a 19-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man, a 23-year-old man, and a 27-year-old man.

The 23-year-old man and the 27-year-old man are both convicted felons.

MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
