Milwaukee Police: Teen taken into custody after assaulting bus security officer

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 16-year-old girl is arrested after police say she assaulted a bus security officer. 

Around 3:00 the afternoon of Wednesday, January 24, Milwaukee police responded to 27th and Wisconsin after a call for trouble. Officers say a female was ordered off an MCTS bus by a transit security officer and as she was exiting the bus, she spit on the security officer. 

A friend of the female then allegedly hit the security officer with an object. The friend, a 16-year-old girl, was taken into custody. Police are still looking for the other female. 

The security officer was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
