Milwaukee police: Missing 6-year-old boy found safe

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say Marvin Sherrod has been found safe.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are requesting the public's assistance in locating a critically missing child. 

Officials say 6-year-old Marvin Sherrod was last seen around 12:20 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, near 23rd and Auer. 

Police say Marvin was last seen in the company of 39-year-old Lynn Jackson. Marvin was last seen in a vehicle, heading south from the area, described as a red 2007 Chevy Impala with Wisconsin plate ALX7089. 

He's described as a Black male weighing about 45 pounds. Marvin was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and black Nike shoes.
