MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police say that on Thursday around 12:20 p.m. they arrested Kavin Nesbit near 19th and Capitol.

According to police, Nesbit was arrested without incident and charges are pending. 

He is accused of abducting 17-year-old Alexis Flynn at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An abducted teen is safe but police are looking for the man who allegedly took her at gunpoint. 

Alexis Flynn, 17, is safe again. Police say she was abducted by someone she had a relationship with authorities are looking for him. 

It happened in broad daylight the afternoon of December 3 in the area of 12th and Keefe Streets. According to Police, the suspect is 35-year-old Kavin Nesbit. 

Police say they met two months ago. 

Authorities say he took Flynn at gunpoint, but they're investigating to confirm those details. The investigation led police to an apartment at 11th and Atkinson. When police arrived, they entered the apartment but Nesbit escaped through a window. 

"Last night there was a third party that had contacted her, she didn't claim that she was in any danger or anything like that, but nonetheless we continued to investigate. That's when our specials investigation division was contacted. They immediately started looking at addresses that Kavin had frequented," said Asst. Police Chief Steve Caballero with the Milwaukee Police Department's Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Nesbit is described as 5'9" tall, 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a large tan shirt. 

Police say there is no immediate danger to the public but say Nesbit could be armed. 

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police say Alexis Flynn has been recovered and is in police custody. She was found around 11:40 a.m. Wednesday near 11th and Atkinson.

Police are still looking for Newsbit, who fled from police.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In an update, Milwaukee Police now say 17-year-old Alexis Flynn was taken at gunpoint by Kavin Nesbit. 

Police are still actively searching for both.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is currently searching for a missing 17-year-old female.

Alexis Flynn was last seen near 12th and Keefe around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Alexis is described as 5'08", 213 lbs, with black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black leggings.

Police believe that Alexis was last in the company of 35-year-old Kavin Nesbit. Nesbit is described as 5'9, 165 pounds, black hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a large tan shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call MPD's Sensitive Crimes Division.
