Milwaukee police searching for driver in fatal hit and run

Police are seeking the 19-year-old driver involved in a fatal hit and run.
On November 5th, a 35-year-old Milwaukee woman was struck near the intersection of S. 20th Street and W. Bolivar Ave.
Off-duty Milwaukee Police Officers saw the victim lying on the roadway and began first aid. Milwaukee Fire Department responded and attempted lifesaving measures but the victim was later pronounced dead on the scene.
Police found the vehicle used to strike the victim in Franklin.
Two 17-year-old passengers have been taken into custody.
The circumstances leading up to this crash are still under investigation.
