Milwaukee Police Responding to Shooting at Wendy's

Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that happened around 3:50 p.m. on Friday outside the Wendy’s restaurant at 2725 W. Capitol Drive. A male victim was shot during circumstances that remain under investigation at this time. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
MPD continues to seek a motive and search for suspect.
The Wendy's manager said the restaurant is currently closed and there is a large police presence.
There are, also, police at KFC on 35th and Fond du Lac Avenue. It is unknown at this time if they are connected.
