Milwaukee Police: Person Struck by Car Near UWM's Campus

MILWAUKEE - One person is recovering after being hit by a car near Oakland Ave and Hampshire Street this evening.
The fire department responded to the scene around 8:30 p.m. and transported one person to Froedtert Hospital.
Police say they are following up with the pedestrian that was struck in order to gain more information.
