Milwaukee Police: Man shot during argument near 40th and Cherry

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Authorities say the victim is a 40-year-old man.

He suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Police are searching for the suspect. An investigation is ongoing.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are currently investigating a shooting that left a man injured on Wednesday night.

Police were called out to 40th and Cherry around 9:24 p.m.

An argument between two known individuals led to the shots being fired.

The suspect is not in custody.

The victim was taken to a local hospital. There is currently no word on his condition. Police say the victim is a man in his early twenties. 

Milwaukee Police continue to investigate.
