Milwaukee Police Investigating Two Separate Shootings Sunday Afternoon

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred in the 2400 block of N. 1st Street at about 2:35 p.m. today. A 35-year-old male was walking in the above listed area when an unknown subject began firing a gun at which time the victim was shot.

The victim was conveyed to a local hospital by Milwaukee Fire Department. He is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police continue to search for a suspect.

Milwaukee police are also investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred at about 5:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of N. 14th St.

The victim was involved in a confrontation with another known male regarding a firearm. A struggle ensued during the confrontation and the victim was shot. He was conveyed to a local hospital by a friend. He is being treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound

Police are continuing to investigate both cases.
