Milwaukee police investigating series of shootings on April 24

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a series of shootings that occurred today, on April 24.

47th and Center

The first one was on 47th and Center at 10:46 a.m. The 25-year-old female victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.

27th and Chambers

The second one occurred on 27th and Chambers at 12:50 p.m. The 17-year-old male victim sustained non-fatal injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

80th and Bender

The next one occurred on 80th and Bender at 4:40 p.m. The 25-year-old male Milwaukee victim sustained life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition. The shooting is the result of an argument.

5800 block of W. Silver Spring

The next one occurred on 5800 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 4:50 p.m. The 17-year-old male shot the 20-year-old male victim. He sustained non-fatal injuries. The 17-year-old was arrested and charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in the coming days.

22nd and Chambers

The next one occurred on 22nd and Chambers at 6:05 p.m. The 30-year-old female victim sustained non-fatal injuries. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The shooting is the result of an argument.

The last shooting occurred at 8:10 p.m. The 24-year-old male victim sustained non-fatal injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The location and the circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
