Milwaukee police investigating late night fatal hit and run accident

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Medical Examiner has confirmed the name of the 46-year-old victim in the fatal crash. His name was Eric Clinton.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal hit and run accident that left one dead at 10:35 p.m. last night, on May 27.

Police say the 46-year-old Milwaukee male named Eric Clinton was struck by another vehicle and died from his injuries.

Police say the vehicle was headed north on 46th and Lisbon when the pedestrian was struck and killed.

The vehicle was left at the scene of the crash.

Police say the car has a Wisconsin license plate number of 271-TEW and is a stolen red, Pontiac G5 2-door.

This is an ongoing investigation.

Police are continuing to seek unknown suspect(s).
