UPDATE: Milwaukee Police identify shooting victim near 26th and Auer

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is identifying the man killed in a shooting on Thursday.

According to police, 22-year-old Semaj Hudson was shot near N. 26th St. and W. Auer Ave. around 5:40 p.m.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances around the shooting and search for a suspect.

It happened around 5:43 p.m. on Thursday near 26th and Auer.

Milwaukee Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

There are no suspects in custody.

The age and gender of the victim has not been released.
