Milwaukee police investigates 4 separate shootings overnight

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating four, separate shootings that occurred overnight Monday, June 8 into Tuesday, June 9. 

The first shooting happened near J&M Citgo Gas Station. located at 20th and Fairmount, around 9:30 p.m. Monday. An 18-year-old Milwaukee man, was shot and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the victim was uncooperative. The circumstances surrounding this shooting remain under investigation. 

The second shooting occurred near Appleton and Hampton Avenues around 1:50 a.m. Tuesday. A 25-year-old Milwaukee man sustained a non-life threatening gunshot injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. An investigation is ongoing. 

Police were called to a third shooting at Center Street Citgo Gas Station around 2:42 a.m. Tuesday -- near Appleton Ave and Center Street. The victim, a 36-year-old Milwaukee man, was involved with a verbal altercation with the suspect. The suspect subsequently shot the victim and fled the scene. The victim sustained a serious injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. This is an active investigation and MPD is seeking an unknown suspect.

A fourth shooting happened at Prince Petroleum gas station near Teutonia and Hampton Avenues around 2:50 a.m. Tuesday. Police say a 25-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
