MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 52-year-old has died following a shooting near the corner of 27th and Wisconsin, according to Milwaukee police. The shooting took place on Tuesday, April 29 at around 12:50 a.m.

The victim was initially transported to a local hospital with injuries but was later pronounced dead, police confirmed in an update issued early Wednesday, April 30. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation, and authorities are seeking unknown suspects.
