Milwaukee Police investigate fatal afternoon shooting

Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Saturday afternoon.
Police were called to the area of Sherman Boulevard and Bernhard Place around 1:30 PM.
A 34-year-old man was driving in a vehicle when a suspect fired shots.
The victim was hit by gunfire and drove a short distance before striking a pole.
Despite life saving efforts by the Milwaukee Fire Department the victim died on scene.
There are currently no suspects in custody.
Milwaukee Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
