Milwaukee Police investigate deadly double shooting

Milwaukee police are investigating a double shooting that resulted in the death of a 39-year-old Milwaukee woman Thursday night.  The shooting happened at 10:22 p.m. in the 2600 block of W. Auer Street.  According to police, both victims are from Milwaukee.  They were shot while standing in front of a residence by unknown subjects who fired at them from across the street.  Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.  According to police, the 39-year-old woman suffered a serious injury and died at the hospital.  A 41-year-old man suffered a non-life threatening injury.   The circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.
