Milwaukee police apprehend 2 men following bank robbery, $10K recovered

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Dept. is investigating a bank robbery involving two male suspects who struck near 56th and Capitol.

According to police reports, the duo entered the bank Monday, July 31, demanded cash and subsequently fled on foot with a little over $10,000.

Authorities say that police responded at about 4:42 p.m., chasing the suspects before placing them into custody.

The apprehended suspects are a 25-year-old male and a 22-year-old male.

The recovered sum from the suspects reportedly totals above $10,000. Charges against the pair are pending a review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
