Milwaukee Police Administration Building will be closed to the public during RNC

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department on Monday announced their police administration building, located at 749 W. State Street, will not be open to the public during the Republican National Convention.

The police administration building is located within the RNC's established hard zone. It will be closed beginning Sunday, July 14, and is anticipated to reopen Friday, July 19 at 9 a.m.

The police department says fingerprint services will have to be scheduled prior to the closure or after. For other police services, the nearest district alternatives are Milwaukee Police District 2, located at 245 W. Lincoln Avenue, Milwaukee Police District 3, located at 2333 N. 49th Street, and Milwaukee Police District 5, at 2920 N. Vel R. Phillips Avenue.
