MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There have now been 14 people killed in Milwaukee this month alone.
Milwaukee Police addressed crime and safety at a public safety meeting on the city's south side Wednesday evening.
This comes just two days after a deadly officer-involved shooting on S. 10th Street.
Police say they were searching for a man wanted on arrest warrants when he pulled out a gun during a traffic stop.
"They went to arrest him. Unfortunately, I don't have all the details nor could I release all the details but the officers were confronted with a situation and unfortunately had to take that person's life."
Police did not say if the man fired his gun.
A firearm was recovered at the scene.
The two officers who fired at the man were not hurt.
