Milwaukee Police investigating after shooting victim found in Vogel Park

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office were called out to Vogel Park for a report of a shooting victim.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the park located at 8600 W. Lancaster Avenue.

According to police, officers and deputies located an unconscious shooting victim in the park. Despite lifesaving measures, he died at the scene.

The victim has been identified as a 31-year-old man.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
