Milwaukee police: 11-day-old baby dies near 97th Street, co-sleeping believed to be factor

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An investigation is underway after a newborn baby girl was located unresponsive on 97th Street in Milwaukee.
Police were called to the area around 4 a.m.
Authorities say an 11-day-old baby girl was located unresponsive and despite life-saving measures, she was pronounced dead.
Co-sleeping appears to be a factor in her death, however, her cause of death is under investigation.
An autopsy has been scheduled by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.
