Man killed, woman seriously hurt following crash near Sherman and Silver Spring

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One person is dead following a crash that happened near Sherman Boulevard and West Silver Spring Drive on Thursday, Jan. 27. 

Milwaukee police say just after 2:30 p.m., a vehicle traveling northbound crossed the center line and collided with a southbound vehicle. 

The driver of the northbound vehicle, a 63-year-old man, sustained fatal injuries. 

The driver of the vehicle that was struck, a 52-year-old woman, sustained serious injuries. 

She was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
