Milwaukee Night Market returning for full season in 2022, vendors sought

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Night Market will return downtown for four nights this summer, according to a news release.

The free, outdoor event will be held on June 15, July 13, Aug. 17 and Sept. 21, featuring a variety of vendors, performers and artists.

The market will be held from 5-10 p.m. on W. Wisconsin Avenue between 2nd St. and Vel R. Phillips Avenue.

Westown Association acquired the Night Market from NEWaukee in 2021. NEWaukee had produced the event since 2014.

Due to Covid-19, the market was canceled in 2020, and a single market was held in 2021, attracting more than 25,000 attendees.

“We are excited for the return of the Milwaukee Night Market and look forward to hosting a full season this summer,” said Stacie Callies, executive director of Westown Association. “In 2021, we saw the Night Market provide a unique opportunity to gather on West Wisconsin Avenue as many visitors and employees returned downtown after months away. Now in 2022, we get to recreate that environment four different times, making it the best summer event in the city for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to experience Milwaukee.”

Westown is currently seeking vendors to participate.

Applications can be found at mkenightmarket.com. The deadline to apply is March 18.
