Milwaukee Museum Mile Day happening on Mother's Day with free or reduced admission

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Multiple Milwaukee museums will be open for free or reduced admission on Mother's Day, Sunday from May 12 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

All five museums along the Milwaukee Museum Mile will be open including Charles Allis Art Museum, Jewish Museum Milwaukee, MOWA at Saint John's on the Lake, Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum and North Point Lighthouse. Admission to all museums will be free except for North Point Lighthouse which will offer $5 admission for adults and kids ages 12 and over. Kids under 12, seniors and active military will be free.

Some of the museums will also have light refreshments including champagne and lemonade. 

All museums are within walking distance of each other. A free shuttle bus will run every half hour between the museums starting at 11 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m.
