Milwaukee Man's Home Broken Into and Gun Pointed at Him in the Afternoon

A 50-year-old Milwaukee man’s home was broken into and a gun pointed at him on 1000 block of E. Vienna Avenue around 1:05 PM.

Milwaukee Police were dispatched to an armed robbery complaint.

The victim said the suspect demanded several electronics.

The suspect fled in a Chevrolet Cavalier that picked him up at the scene.

Police spotted the vehicle a short time later near N. Richards Street and E. Auer Avenue.

Officers attempted to stop it.

The Cavalier continued to flee and officers began a pursuit.

During the pursuit, the Cavalier sideswiped a Milwaukee County Transit System bus and a MPD squad car. No one inside the bus or squad was injured.

Four suspects fled from the scene near N. Holton Street and W. Center Street and three were taken into custody.

Those arrested included an 18-year-old man, an 18-year-old woman, and a 22-year-old man. MPD is currently seeking the fourth suspect, a 26-year-old man, who is believed to have committed the original crime.

MPD will present the case against the arrested suspects to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
