Milwaukee Man's all Red outfit helps Police arrest him after robbery

A 17 year-old Milwaukee man wearing all red robbed a 29 year-old woman in the 6800 block of North 76 Street, and his clothing helped Milwaukee Police identify and arrest him.

The suspect, who was wearing a red shirt and red pants, implied he had a gun, grabbed the victim’s cell phone, and struck her in the face before he fled on foot.

A Milwaukee Police officer saw the suspect running away and broadcast his description.

Other officers from District Four responded and located the suspect, a 17-year-old Milwaukee male and convicted felon, inside a home in the 6700 block of North 75th Street a short time later. A relative inside the home told officers the suspect came in wearing red clothing but had changed before police arrived. MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days for charges.
